Born in 1977 in Lviv,Ukraine,now resides in New York.She attended Fashion Institute of Technology and Art Students League.She was studying under established artists such as Frank Mason,Richard Pionk,Greg Krautz,Michael Burban,Costa Vavaviakis.Also,currently she is continuing her education at New York Accademy of Fine Art.

Maryana’s artwork has been displayed in various shows and galleries as well as published in several magazines and books.The most recent is the book "How did you paint that?100 ways to paint your favorite subject" featured by International Artist Magazine.
Also,she is represented by Amsterdam Whitney Gallery in NYC and Saatachi Gallery in London.

Her subject matter comes from the thoughts,surroundings,and emotions.Each of her paintings is unique,colorful,and captivating,so they evoke the imagination and inspire the viewer.

Ms.Beletskaya invites inquiries on any commission artwork:family portraits,posthumous portraits,miniatures,replicas,still lifes,landscapes.She strongly believes that the finest portraits depict more than likeness of the subject.They should capture the unique spirit of the subject .
